St. Alexander School’s mission calls all students to “witness, proclaim, and teach the Good News of the Gospel.”  One way we do this is through service. Students are encouraged to participate in a variety of service projects throughout the year. Jesus’ life focused on serving others.  Using His example, we find numerous ways to help those in need.

Some of the service projects we have done this year include:

    • School Supplies Donations (Caring for Kids, Unlimited, Inc.)
    • Baby Bottle Project (The Women’s Centers of Greater Chicagoland)service projects
    • Read to Feed (Heifer International)
    • Thanksgiving Food Drive
    • Toy Drive (Catholic Charities)
    • Brown Bag Collection (St. Vincent de Paul Society)
    • CRS Rice Bowls
    • Christmas cards for Our Country’s Service Men and Women
